Alyssa leads RWA’s programmes and investment development work, advancing investment opportunities that strengthen water security and climate resilience. Prior to joining RWA, Alyssa led the USAID-funded Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Finance 1 & 2 programmes, which pioneered approaches to mobilising public and private finance in water and sanitation infrastructure development and service delivery across 13 countries in Africa and Asia. Alyssa brings 20 years of experience in the planning, finance, and delivery of major infrastructure programmes across five continents. This includes the Masdar City development in Abu Dhabi, UAE, the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic and Paralympic Games in Brazil, and the Hurricane Sandy Recovery and Resiliency Programme in New York City. Alyssa serves on the Council of Directors for WaterConnect, a project development company focused on creating construction-stage investment opportunities in water and sanitation infrastructure in low- and middle-income countries. She received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a Master of Science in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
