Following the publication of RWA’s report Accelerating Water Stewardship Investments in Global Apparel Supply Chains, these exclusive workgroups will facilitate discussions* to accelerate financing of water stewardship in textiles wet processing.

4 x 60-minute online sessions in November—December 2025

Outcomes-focused collaborative workgroups for learning, discussion, and action.

Workgroups will meet on Wednesdays for 60 minutes, online.

Group 1 (brands) will meet from 12 November to 3 December.

Group 2 (investors) will meet from 19 November to 10 December.

Guest speakers will be announced at a later date.

Group 1: Apparel brands and retailers that buy from EMDEs (emerging markets/developing economies).

Finance, sourcing/supply chain, ESG/CR, and sustainability professionals working in global apparel brands and retailers sourcing from emerging markets such as Bangladesh, India, Viet Nam, Morocco, and others.

Group 2: Institutional investors looking at ESG and stewardship among apparel brands and retailers.

Responsible investment analysts, asset managers, and other institutional investment professionals looking at sustainability and ESG in global apparel brand and retailer investees, and/or textiles wet processors (dyehouses, fabric mills, etc.)

These workgroups are open to those who are new to looking at supply chains water stewardship as well as to experienced practitioners already progressing in this space.

*Discussions will be held under the Chatham House Rule, meaning information can be freely shared outside of the discussion, but the identities and affiliations of participants may not. This is to encourage an environment of open dialogue.

These organisations will also be invited to the workgroups to strengthen alignment across the industry.
