About the Resilient Water Accelerator
Around the world, people and ecosystems are feeling the effects of climate change through water. Flooding, droughts, rising sea levels, and irregular rainfall mark profound changes in the earth’s hydrological cycle, and are having disproportionate impacts on countries with the least ability to absorb the shocks.
The Resilient Water Accelerator (RWA) works to design and develop replicable investment models that channel private and commercial finance to strengthen water security and climate resilience.
Launched by the former Prince of Wales, now HM The King Charles III, RWA operates in clearly-defined markets with local decision-makers to identify and cultivate deal structures that can channel investment toward water security outcomes. In Bangladesh, we work with brands, manufacturers, and investors in the apparel industry to strengthen water security for producers and their surrounding communities. In Nigeria, we work in Lagos to remove core barriers to private participation in water infrastructure and services. In South Africa, we are developing new financial products that strengthen water resilience. In 2025, we are expanding into new markets in South Asia, Latin America, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Our Vision
A world where private and commercial investments generate water security and climate resilience benefits and financial returns.

To create a supportive investment landscape for water projects in the markets where we work, where demand for finance is met with supply through well-designed deal structures and finance mechanisms that meet public, private, and corporate/commercial interests.
Our Mission
